La Gallardo Carolina is a Chilean singer born in the deep Atacama Desert. She began singing as a child, first on the streets of Chile, in bars, parks, at music festivals, and wherever else she could. She completed her professional training in Italy. She is a teacher and holds a degree in education.
Her music comes from a distant land, born of passion, of the popular... of that immense Creole nest of flavors, timbres, and sounds that is the Latin American continent, and enriched in turn by her training and experience in lyric opera in Europe.
Carolina Gallardo is a soprano with a dramatic, eccentric timbre and a wide vocal range, which harmonizes perfectly, differentiating and diversifying singing styles and bringing her versatility to bear, spanning lyrical, musical, classical, and standard jazz repertoires, among others. With a unique identity, she decided to focus primarily on her greatest passion: popular music such as bolero, ballads, and folk music.
She proposes this unique artistic project, characterized by the fusion of her Italian academic training and her own distinctive language, originating from the Southern Cone, the farthest place in the world.
